Your Questions, Answered

  • Yes, the pesticides are pet safe once they dry which only takes 6 hours. Please take all pet bowls inside before the service to keep our little furry friends safe.

  • For best results it is recommended to water blast the exterior of the house a day or two before spraying so that the spray doesn’t bond with dust as this will reduce the maximum residual effectiveness. it will also remove spiderwebs which makes it less inviting for more spiders to move in.

  • Our exterior spray is formulated to protect your home for about 3–6 months. The exact duration depends on a few key factors:

    • UV exposure: Strong sun breaks down treatments faster, so north facing walls often see shorter protection windows.

    • Weather: Heavy rain, flooding, and frequent storms can reduce longevity. Mild, dry conditions help the treatment stick around longer.

    • Vegetation against the walls: Climbing plants, dense shrubs, and ivy create damp, shaded microclimates that can shorten effectiveness by shielding pests and washing the spray away.

We tailor recommendations to your property, so if you’ve got high UV, frequent storms, or lots of greenery touching the house, we’ll suggest a schedule that keeps you protected without surprises.

    • Trim vegetation away from the house. Plants touching siding, eaves, or windows create spider highways and hidey-holes. Keep shrubs and tree branches at least 12–18 inches from the exterior so spiders (and the insects they snack on) can’t stage a direct invasion.

    • Remove old webs regularly. Old, sticky webs act like an all-you-can-eat sign after flying insects get stuck in them; more insects = more spiders. Sweep or vacuum webs from eaves, corners, light fixtures, and under decks every couple of months to break the food chain.

    • Make nighttime lights less of an insect billboard. Bright, visible indoor lights through windows lure moths and other bugs — and spiders follow. Use lower-wattage bulbs, warm-colored (amber/soft white) LED lights, or shielded outdoor fixtures. Close blinds or curtains after dark, or switch porch and entry lighting to motion-activated so the glow isn’t constantly attracting prey.

Spider-reduction is about breaking the food supply and removing cozy retreats. Cut the bugs’ buffet, erase the webs, and keep plants off the building — spiders will start looking elsewhere.

  • Our pricing is based off the size and difficulty of spraying your home. A good rule of thumb is to base it off the amount of bedrooms your house has, how many storeys it has, and if it is on town or rain water supply. if you happen to know the sqm of your home then that is great but not needed.

  • the most recommended way to keep on top of your spiders and insects is to have a recurring spray, either 2-3 times per year. We offer discounted rates for scheduled sprays. I recommend early spring, and summer when insects are most active, and one spray before winter to stop them moving inside. this should great a good all year round barrier.
